This notice describes the current MsgSecret app published by Random Mini Apps. It gives app-specific detail alongside our shared privacy policy; this notice takes precedence for MsgSecret where the descriptions differ.
MsgSecret encodes and decodes text with classic ciphers and text encodings. These methods are for puzzles and learning and do not provide secure encryption for sensitive information.
Text you type or paste, cipher settings, keywords and transformation results are processed on your device. The current app holds message text and keywords in its running interface and does not save a message history or upload them to a Random Mini Apps server. MsgSecret has no developer-operated account or messaging backend.
Advertising and purchase features make separate network requests as described below. The app does not add your message text or cipher keyword to an advertising or purchase request. Avoid entering passwords, patient records or other confidential information that these classic transforms are not designed to protect.
MsgSecret stores app state in local preferences, including saved credit balance, daily allowance usage and reset date, tutorial completion, the day of the shared brand splash, and compatibility state for previous unlimited-access owners. Optional review-request timing uses a local successful-operation count, a small set of usage-day identifiers and the last request-attempt date. It does not record message contents or whether you submitted a review.
The startup logo videos are bundled in the app and play locally. Purchase access is checked using Apple’s verified StoreKit information. Device or iCloud backups can retain local preferences according to your settings; local storage is not a promise that data is excluded from backups.
Paste reads text from the system clipboard when you choose that action. Copy writes the selected result to the clipboard. Clipboard content is handled by your device’s system settings, including any enabled Universal Clipboard features, and can be available to another app or device when you paste it.
When you choose Share, the result and any instructions you select are sent to the destination you choose. Shared instructions omit your secret keyword. The receiving app, service or person controls its subsequent handling under their own practices. Check the text before sharing.
MsgSecret offers optional rewarded ads using Google Mobile Ads. Completing an eligible ad grants five saved credits. You can use the daily free allowance without requesting an ad; the lifetime upgrade provides unlimited transformations without rewarded-ad requirements.
Before requesting an ad, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check applicable privacy requirements and present required choices. When UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, the app provides Privacy Choices so you can revisit them. Consent refusal or ad availability can limit whether an ad can be shown; it does not remove the daily allowance.
Google and the advertising partners identified in the applicable consent flow can process IP-derived approximate location, device and technical information, identifiers available under permissions and settings, advertising interactions and diagnostics. Purposes include delivering and measuring ads and preventing fraud. Personalisation and processing depend on the advertising configuration, region and choices; we do not promise that all ads are non-personalised or that the SDK collects no data.
The current app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. That does not establish that no advertising-related information is processed. Google’s privacy policy and partner information describe its practices. Applicable consent controls identify the advertising partners involved.
The one-time unlimited-access purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. MsgSecret uses verified transaction and entitlement information to unlock access, apply purchase changes and restore existing purchases. Payment card details are not provided to Random Mini Apps by these App Store transactions.
Purchase records are handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. Removing the app does not delete Apple’s purchase history or cancel previously purchased lifetime access. Restore Purchases uses your Apple Account’s purchase information.
After sufficient successful use, MsgSecret can ask Apple to display its native review request. Apple controls whether it appears and handles any review you choose to submit. The app records request timing locally and does not receive your review response. You can also choose Rate MsgSecret to open Apple’s review page.
Website, portfolio and privacy links open public web pages, whose hosting and external resources have their own technical request and storage practices. See the shared website notice. Support email is user-initiated; we receive the address, message and attachments you send to answer your request.
You can clear the active text using the app’s Clear action, revoke relevant device permissions in Settings, revisit advertising choices where available, skip rewarded ads, and choose what to copy or share. Removing the app removes its ordinary local app storage; backups, system-managed purchase records and copies already shared can remain separately. Manage those copies and backups at their destination.
Google and Apple retain information according to their service policies and account controls. Support correspondence is retained while needed to answer and follow up your request and meet applicable obligations. Depending on your location and processing involved, you can have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability or withdraw consent. Contact us with the app name and request; provider-held data can also be managed through the relevant provider.
MsgSecret is a general cipher-learning utility. Its App Store age rating and platform controls help you choose suitable access. If you are concerned about a child’s information provided through the app or support, contact us; this notice does not promise that advertising services process no information about users.
For MsgSecret privacy questions, email bleep.minted4c@icloud.com. Please include the app version where possible and only the information needed to explain your request.
We update this notice when MsgSecret’s information-handling practices change and revise the date above. Check it when using a new feature.
